“I had to decide and for a long time they showed me affection. I have roots in Morocco and now I have to show it on the field and return that trust.
“I am very grateful to Spain too. This doesn’t change anything. I have worn the national team shirt and I want them to do as well as possible. I have noticed a lot of affection from people and I respect opinions.”
On originally signing Real Madrid, Diaz added: “I already said it at the time, in my presentation: there were more offers but I don’t remember any of them because in my head I only had three options: Madrid, Madrid and Madrid.
“That was always my goal.”

I wish our foreign borns takes a leaf, its high time we started having our best foreign borns committing to us.
It hurt to lose Folorunsho to Italy,Eze to England,Olise to France these trio could have improved our team,we needed them because we lack options in the position they play.
It’s a shame while Ivory Coast,Senegal,Morocco and Algeria have quality foreign borns committing to them, reverse seems to be the case with Nigeria
“…there are MANY talents in the local league…” i guess..?!! LMAOoo
