Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson says Eberechi Eze’s talent has earned him respect from his teammates.
Eze joined Palace from Championship club Queens Park Rangers during the transfer window.
The 22-year-old has gone on to impress for the London club netting his first goal in a 4-1 win against Leeds United before the international break.

And speaking ahead of this weekend’s Premier League return against struggling Burnley, Hodgson praised the youngster for adapting quickly to the team.
The former England national team head coach said Eze’s fitness will be assessed ahead of the game against Burnley after he suffered a knock on international duties with the U-20s.
“Eze’s been very good right from the start,” he said during Thursday’s press conference.
“His adaptation has been seamless. He’s earned the respect in the squad with the talent he’s shown… We will assess his fitness ahead of the weekend.”
And commenting on what to expecting from a Burnley side that have been struggling this season:”My experience of Burnley is that it is always a tough game. They are a hard team to beat and most importantly of all, we know any result we get against them will be very hard-fought.”
