Marc Albrighton will miss Sunday’s clash with Tottenham and could be out for the season as he requires hamstring surgery. Albrighton The 29-year-old picked up the leg injury during training ahead of Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Manchester United at the King Power Stadium.

It was not known how serious the problem was but boss Claude Puel revealed to reporters on Friday that the Premier League winner will be going under the surgeon’s knife. “We already know the injury to Albrighton . He has a serious hamstring injury,” he said. “He will have surgery. He will perhaps not be available before the end of the season.”
Daniel Amartey also remains sidelined with a broken leg but the Foxes could give a debut to new loan signing Youri Tielemans.
On the Belgium international, Puel added: “We will see. I haven’t made my decision yet. He has worked hard in training.”
