Hull FC back-row forward Jordan Thompson has re-joined Leigh Centurions in a bid to get more regular action under his belt. The 27-year-old joined the Centurions at the end of the 2017 season and also had a loan spell with Leeds last year before re-joining Hull for 2019, but things have not worked out as the player would have hoped.

Thompson has been unable to force his way into the Hull side on a regular basis, and following talks with coach Lee Radford, the decision was taken to sign for Leigh. The switch to the Championship club is done and dusted and the player is now looking forward to his time with the Centurions.
Thompson said: “At this stage in my career I feel I need to be playing week-in, week-out and Lee was honest enough for me to know that unfortunately, it isn’t going to happen at Hull FC with the squad we have here. “Coming back to Leigh I feel I’ve got unfinished business and I’m joining a club in good stead.”
