Man City boss Pep Guardiola will have to do without Benjamin Mendy for the trip to Huddersfield although the defender is nearing a return.
Midfielders Fabian Delph and Oleksandr Zinchenko have deputised at times in Mendy’s lengthy absence due to a knee injury but the role has been mainly filled by Leroy Sane, who will once again feature against Huddersfield this weekend.
City don’t appear to have any further injury concerns ahead of the trip to the John Smith’s Stadium as they look to keep the pressure on Premier League frontrunners Liverpool, who play at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
