Nigeria forward Terem Moffi wants to stay at Ligue 1 club Lorient despite transfer links to top clubs, reports Completesports.com.
Moffi, 21, has scored 14 goals in 27 league appearances for modest Lorient this season.
The young forward scored his first Ligue 1 hat-trick in Lorient’s 4-1 win against Girondis Bordeaux last weekend.

He has been linked as a potential replacement for Norway striker Erling Haaland, who could leave Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The player, who only linked up with Lorient from Belgian Pro League side KV Kortrijk last summer is however not willing to leave the club at the moment.
“The season is not over, there are four games left, and our focus is on safety, not on transfers,” he told Ouest-France.
“But I want to stay, yes – I have fun here. I love my teammates. So yes.”

Is moffi actually expressing his lack of confidence to play for a big club like Dortmund? i thing he should think of moving higher to prove his worth.
In professional football it’s not the player who decides where he goes to but the clubs. It’s a business transaction for financial profit.
@Ako AMADI But in most cases the player decides where he wants to go
example hallaand can decide man united or real madrid or barca
Smart man, stay and develop your game. Not everybody has to take the Osimhen route and watch the game pass you by because you cant compete or adapt to the game on time. Some of the teams with transfer rumors want a quick fix and it goes wrong. Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Joao Felix, Thomas Lemar. Good things happen to those who wait and build their game like Mbappe. Borussia Dortmund is a selling team, not a team you can win titles with. Haaland already outgrew the team in one season and have a bunch of other teams wanting him and is fighting for a champions league spot. Its all about the mentality at the end of the day.
