The Nigeria international was on target in Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-0 victory over Sparta Prague at the BayArena on Wednesday night.
The former Southampton player has played six times in the competition for the Bundesliga champions this season.

It was a remarkable achievement for Tella, who two years ago was playing in the Sky Bet Championship.

Xabi Alonso’s side qualified for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League following the comfortable victory.
