Tanimu should not be in the Super Eagles ahead of Igho Ogbu or Leon Balogun.
The fact a player playing in Tanzanian is invited to super eagles and start a game should raise eyebrows..Guys take out time and watch Tanzanian league and tell me how that level of school sports football merits super eagles.. Somebody in the coaching team or NFF is actually sponsoring the player with the hope of selling him to Europe at a profit while super eagles and our ambition to qualify for world cup becomes secondary..
It doesn’t matter which League or country you are playing in; if you are good enough you can play for the National team. Tanimu was not the worst player in the field and with the shortage of defenders in the SE squad, with Ekong, Zaidu, Aina sidelined through injury, the guy deserved his spot and played fairly well.
I can’t agree less.
I think this our coach is on experiments at the wrong time. He need the technical ability to measure with what is required of in present dispensation concerning what class the Super Eagle is needed now.
