Crazy, crazy even to leave out Ndidi, one of the best in the entire world. The best way to silence this discriminatory rating is for the SuperEagles to fly higher and overcome African football. But do we have a grand plan for this? The Glass House, itself lacking objectivity in dealing with Rohr, is about to shoot itself on the feet. Where lies the hope?
What is Aurier and Matip who’s not even representing Cameroon doing in this list??? Aurier who has played very few matches I wonder what parameter Caf is using aside this two the rest deserves their sport!
Ummmm…..where are those who claim Nigeria has the best talents in Africa..? Lolz. Where are those who were insulting Rohr when he affirmed that we don’t have STARS anymore like in the 90s
Just as the adage goes…’The man who saw himself a billionaire in his dream should better wake up and start working hard, else he dies of hunger’
Let them select FIFPro Africa 2nd eleven, only Ndidi will make it to that list. Thats the level where we are currently….accept it or not.
Someone should pls tell the mother of the albino to stop calling her kid ‘Oyinbo’
dont mind them, they dint say anything now
Who cares about African XI? All I want is next nation’s cup by beating the so called best XI all the way.
Can the Africa x1 play a friendly match with super eagles and let’s who wins?…. Ndidi alone will takeover that midfield, Samuel Kalu and chukueze on the flanks with Osimhen upfront will tear that useless defense apart…. Anyway, this is a wake up call to Super Eagles
If the best defensive midfielder in the epl and one of the best in the world can’t be in the list then something is wrong. If the highest goal scorer in African qualifier and the nations cup can’t be in the list then something is wrong. Aubemayang does not deserve to be in the list. How has he lifted Gabon. How has his goals helped or won anything for arsenal. Does that mean performance for the country is not important. Haba something is wrong.
Did George Weah’s goals lift Liberia before he won AFOTY and Ballon d’Or in 1995…?
FifPro is an association of professional football across the globe. If professional footballers globally themselves have voted Mane, Salah and Auba as the best 3 strikers in year 2019…then let’s leave it like that and move on.
Abi does FIFPro too hate Nigeria (according to FIFA hates Africa conspiracy theorists)….?
Why didn’t Ndidi alone take over the midfield against Madagascar…? Lolz
@Emmy Bazz…lol..I understand your pain but Chukwueze, Kalu andd Osimhen against Salah, Mane and Aubameyang to face Ekong, Ajayi, Shehu and Collins…to be continued
How can a golden boot winner who also did well in his club not make the first XL because of some one who his country didn’t even qualify 4 d AFCON?? I have not seen dat kind of thing in another continent….even FIFA and UEFA,it is always the numba nine dat score most goals in the w c or d Nations League dat serve as their best nine of d year as long as u are still doing well 4 ur club regardless of d league u a playing in ….i am just confused wit d way voted 4 AUBA instead of IGHALO
This is an indictment on both the Federal and state Governments for abandoning school/grassroot development of soccer in Nigeria. And until we go back to it footballers from smaller countries will continue to dominate all Çaf awards.
Politic at the top gone awry for Nigeria. I think this was a riposte to Pinnick’s attempted “Palace coup” against Ahmad.
Nigeria only got one award, Asisat couldn’t be ignored. HOWEVER!! the voting was by National confederations as well as by sports journalists. The Nigerian NFF rep did not vote and several of our journalists voted for others. I still find it hard to swallow that not one male player got an award or joined the African 11.
This is down to the way our NFF is run and how they run our football.
2019 was a year to forget except for the Super eagles, but they are not yet where they are supposed to be.
lets hope the nonsense fight at the top and middle levels of our football stops this year. But I don’t think it will. As I type, the NNL (first division) was suspended today and will not resume matches. So no Bendel Insurance, 3SC etc in competitive action
Nigerians should be more concerned with the FIFA rankings of the Super Eagles
