The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Russia in a friendly match in 2025, reports Completesports.com.
The friendly is being put together by FIFA’s match agent, Jairo Pachon.
The date and venue of the game is expected to be announced once all the details are sorted.

“Our representatives are cooperating with the Russia Football Federation on the organisation of a friendly match between Russia and Nigeria. This match is about as good as it gets,” Pachon was quoted by Russian journalist Bartlomiej Banasiew.
The Super Eagles will be involved in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the international windows in 2025.
The game could be staged towards the end of the year.
It will be first meeting between Nigeria and Russia at the senior level.
