Newly appointed Super Eagles head coach, Bruno Labbadia is expected to stick with his trusted German assistants as he put together his backroom staff.
Labbadia, who was appointed Super Eagles head coach on Tuesday is expected to bring in at least two foreign assistants.
The 58-year-old will also work with a number of local assistants.
Erdinç Sözer, Olaf Janßen and Bernhard Trares are the three men, who have worked with the German regularly in the last couple of years.
Sözer is considered Labbadia’s most reliable assistant and is likely to be his first choice.
The pair worked together at several clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, VfB Stuttgart, VfL Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin.
He is currently without job after leaving Turkish side Samsunspor in June.
Former centre-back Trares, started working with Labbadia in 2015 at Hamburg and continued their partnership at VfB Stuttgart. He is also currently without a club
Janßen is currently managing German side, Viktoria Köln.
He started working with Labbadia in 2018, with stints at VfL Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin.

This man and my dog are namesake.
BRUNO! Fear that name..Fear anyone answering bruno..that is how my neighbours and strangers are scared of my house…very wicked, dangerous, strategic(tactical) when going against intruders and defending my house
And of you want bruno at his best just feed him well.. this goes out to the nff if you want this coach to deliver just pay him well and on time..
And just to add the coach and my dog are from the same country cos my dog is a german shepherd…
So two things stricking there….
Lol. May he succeed against all odds
I am still trying to calculate his salary. But I guess 70ooo. Even nff is afraid to tell us .. hopefully he wil get a four years contract,in case his share in market increase so that we can sell him for 120000 .to morroco, Egypt,or Saudi.
I don’t doubt this manager’s ability rather I will of the NFF and Sports ministry. These politicians are the real reason our football and sports have fallen behind. No the the coaches.
