The home-based Super Eagles will battle either Togo or Benin Republic for a place at the 2020 African Nations Championship in Ethiopia, reports Completesports.com.
The Super Eagles edged out Benin 2-1 on aggregate to qualify for the last edition of the competition in Morocco.
They came second at the competition losing 4-0 to the hosts in the final.
47 teams are engaged in the battle for 15 places to join host Ethiopia for the sixth edition of the competition.
The format of the qualifiers for CHAN remains unchanged and will be played on a zonal basis to determine the finalists for Ethiopia.
The schedule, time and date, will be communicated in due course by CAF.
The competition is meant for African players plying their trade in their respective countries’ domestic leagues.
