What did I say last week? Quoting myself: “Based on the lower quality of the United Arab Emirates league compared to European leagues, the 28 year old centre forward is expected to rediscover his scoring boots.”
The 28 year old U-17 World Cup winner didn’t wait for grass-to-grow-under-his feet in the league to open his scoring account.
Ighalo famously led the lines for the Super Eagles after parachuting goals like pure water in China. So, has Isaac Success opened the dialogue for consideration of his invitation to the Super Eagles?
I suspect many fans will shout NO from the roof top.
But hey, Isaac Success looks fit with higher boost of confidence with regular game-time, playing 90 minutes and scoring truck load of goals. If it plays out this way for him, let’s see whether Eguavoen will risk the fury of some fans by extending invitation to him.
But me, I remain an unashamed, unabashed fan of Isaac Success! 🙂
