Inter Miami coach Tata Martino has revealed that plans are in place for Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez to join Argentine legend Lionel Messi at the MLS club in January.
Messi moved to Major League Soccer outfit Inter Miami from French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022.

“Within our analysis of the upcoming season, and the needs we may have, we have an analysis with Luis and without Luis,” Martino said.
“When the time comes to make Suarez’s situation at Inter Miami official, we’ll be prepared to go in the corresponding direction.”
It was earlier announced by Gremio coach, Renato Gaucho that Suarez would depart the club in December 2022 after the conclusion of the Brazilian Serie A season.
“He was somebody who came through here and not only made his mark at Gremio, but I believe that all of Brazil recognizes it,” Gaucho said.
“I have had the pleasure to be working with him, we will miss him a lot.”
