Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has expressed optimism that the duo of Luis Suarez and Marcos Llorente would give Barcelona a tough nightmare ahead of today’s La Liga clash at Camp Nou.
With just two points separating both teams, Atletico, who are currently top of the league will be hoping to cause an upset against Barcelona.
Interestingly, a win for Barcelona could also push them to the top of La Liga table as they currently sit third on the log.
Speaking ahead of the game, Simeone in a press conference, stated that he’s banking on Suarez and Llorente to wreck Barcelona’s title dream.
“Their season speaks for itself. They have been having a fantastic season, two extraordinary players, one with a lot of history, like Luis, claiming what was not expected of him, and Llorente doing one of the best years of his career.
“We have been playing this season with a very strong idea, sometimes expressed in a better way and sometimes not so good. We will not vary much from what we have done.
“We’ll imagine what we have been doing, the best of what we have done, and we will try to get closer to that.”
