Coach Christian Streich is reportedly on the verge of signing a new one-year contract with Bundesliga outfit SC Freiburg.
The 53-year-old is the Bundesliga’s longest-serving coach having taken over the job in 2011.

Streich guided Freiburg to the 2. Bundesliga title in 2016 and has kept the side in the top flight as they currently sit in mid-table.
Freiburg are keen to tie Streich down to a long-term stay, but it seems he wants to take a year off from football so will only agree to stay until summer 2020.
Reports in Germany are suggesting that a deal will be finalised in the near future with just some final details being ironed out.
