Stoke are reportedly hoping to wrap up a permanent deal for Wolves defender Danny Batth before Thursday’s deadline.
The 28-year-old came through the ranks with Wolves, captaining the youth team, before making his senior debut as a substitute against Sheffield United in August 2010.

After a couple of seasons on-loan with Sheffield Wednesday, he returned to Molineux to claim a regular spot.
He turned out 16 times last season as Wolves won promotion from the Championship but was deemed surplus to requirements this term.
Middlesbrough swooped to take him on-loan for the campaign, however, his time at the Riverside may be cut short as Stoke look to sign him permanently for £3.5million ahead of Thursday’s deadline.
It’s understood that Leo Bonatini will also be allowed to head out on loan this month, while Connor Ronan, Donovan Wilson and Joe Mason have been made available.
