Stoke City manager Michael O’Neil is delighted to have John Mikel Obi back in his squad following the midfielder’s recent battle with injury, reports Completesports.com.
Mikel spent time on the sidelines with calf and groin trouble after limping out of a goalless draw at Sheffield Wednesday last month.

“But we’re in a situation when we are trying to get players back. In an ideal situation we would never take Joe Allen off like that but it would be unrealistic to ask Joe to play 90 minutes at this minute in time.

Stoke City will host Bournemouth in their next Sky Bet Championship game on Saturday.
