Tottenham will check on the fitness of Hugo Lloris ahead of tonight’s Premier League clash with Brighton. The Spurs captain missed Saturday’s defeat at Manchester City with a slight muscle problem and Mauricio Pochettino will not be willing to take any risks unless he is back to full fitness.

“Lloris I hope yes, we are going to assess, we have a training session and we hope it is not a big issue, we hope he is going to be available,” Pochettino said. Midfield duo Erik Lamela and Harry Winks will also be assessed ahead of the game as they struggle with hamstring and groin injuries respectively.
“Harry Winks we don’t know because it is a problem that is one day very good, next day not very good, it is about assessing each day,” the boss added. Moussa Sissoko has just been ruled out for two weeks with a groin injury and joins star striker Harry Kane (ankle) in the Tottenham treatment room.
