Tottenham Hotspur have been incredibly inconsistent this season and their poor form even led to the sacking of manager Antonio Conte. A new manager will be brought in before the summer who will lead the team into next season. That manager will certainly require significant investment in the form of new signings. But are there some current Spurs players who could provide internal solutions?
UCL football is unlikely
Many Spurs players look disinterested on the pitch and their attitude may be at fault for the team’s poor form. Players like Harry Kane have continued to shine, but it has not been enough to deliver a successful season.
Tottenham have a difficult task on their hands just to secure a top-four finish. They have a difficult task on their hands to beat Newcastle United to fourth place. It’s set to be an exciting end to the season, which is one of the main reasons why the league is seen as one of the best in the world. Fans from all over the globe closely follow it and this has allowed other industries to build around it such as betting. In online betting Zambia, Spurs are offered at 15.00 to finish in the top four positions at bookmakers such as Bwin, which offer competitive odds and various bonus offers that customers can use. UEFA Champions League football looks unlikely for Spurs based on the odds, and that will heavily influence the players the club signs in the summer.

for not winning trophies. In addition to that, they will have to settle for a lack of UCL football. For some players, the ability to play in Europe’s premier club competition is essential to any potential transfer moves. Spurs may have to seek internal solutions to the issues within their squad. Failed big signings could have another chance at forging a successful career at the club.

Midfield loanees
In the summer window of 2019, Spurs spent big on two midfield technicians. Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso were signed to bolster the club’s midfield options. Neither were huge successes at Tottenham and were eventually loaned out on numerous occasions.
This season Ndombele has been on loan at Serie A leaders Napoli this season as he was not given a chance by Conte. He has been a decent squad option for the Italian team. But the Frenchman has failed to establish himself as a key player at the club. The team from Naples is unlikely to activate the buy option in his loan contract, and he looks set to return to North London in the summer. There is an excellent box-to-box midfielder in Ndombele, maybe the next Spurs manager could unleash it.

Lo Celso has also been a squad option for his loan team Villarreal. He was excellent for Unai Emery before the coach departed for Aston Villa. There is no option to buy in his loan contract, so Spurs have full control over his future.
Whoever is appointed as the Spurs coach is going to have an array of issues to solve. Perhaps taking advantage of the club’s forgotten assets could make that task much easier.
