Spartak Moscow have congratulated former Nigeria international Victor Moses, for scoring his second goal of the new season in the Russian Premier Liga on Saturday.
Moses opened his account for the new Russian top-flight campaign when he netted a superb volley in Spartak’s 1-1 draw at Akhmat Grozny last weekend.
Then on Saturday, he was on target again as he got his side’s fourth goal in their 4-1 win at Krasnodar.
He has equaled his tally for last season, which saw him score two goals.
The win against Krasnodar was Spartak’s first after two rounds of games played so far.
And reacting to Moses’ strike, the club wrote on Twitter:“2 goals in 2 games!
“Victor Moses is on fire.”
Moses was on loan at Spartak Moscow from Chelsea in the 2020/21 season before making the deal permanent transfer on July 2021.
During his time at Chelsea, Moses won the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League titles.
Last season he helped Spartak win the Russian Cup.
