Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly has attributed Napoli teammate Victor Osimhen’s impressive performance this season to the positive impact of head coach Luciano Spalletti.
Osimhen has been in outstanding scoring form for Napoli this season which has seen them top the league standing.
The 22-year-old has scored nine goals in 13 appearances in all competitions so far.

The former Lille striker had a campaign to forget last term as he struggled for fitness and COVID-19 issues.
And Koulibaly believes all this boils down to Spalletti’s influence.
“Osimhen’s first season was difficult, nobody expected him to reach this level, but he still has room for improvement,” Koulibaly told DAZN as quoted by Calciomercato.com.
“He is a humble guy who loves joking with his teammates. Spalletti has pushed him to improve. He’s helped him giving him strength and self-esteem.”
Osimhen helped the Eagles progress into the play-off round of the 2022 World Cup qualifier, after scoring in the 1-1 draw against Cape Verde.
