England boss Gareth Southgate will cast his eye over Jack Grealish during Aston Villa’s Premier League clash with Everton on Friday.
Southgate will announce his squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo next week and Villa midfielder Grealish could force his way into the reckoning with a positive showing at Villa Park.

The 23-year-old has never previously earned a senior international call-up with the Three Lions, but he has represented the under-21s, while he has also played for the Republic of Ireland at youth level.
The Villa academy product was believed to be close to earning a call-up with England last season after impressing in the Championship with Villa, but Southgate was reluctant to give him the nod due to the fact he was playing in the second tier.
However, Grealish is now a mainstay of the Villa team in the Premier League and Southgate will be in attendance at Villa Park on Friday night to run the rule over him.
Southgate will also be casting his eye over Grealish’s Villa team-mate Tyrone Mings, who could also come into contention for a first international call-up.
