Premier League club Southampton are planning to sign Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis from Club Brugge this summer, reports Completesports.com.
Club Brugge are interested in signing Southampton defender Wesley Hoedt, but are not willing to pay the stipulated £7.3m reported asking price.
The Belgian Pro League champions would rather prefer to take Hoedt on loan than pay the fee.
Southampton are ready to allow Hoedt leave on a permanent deal according to Voetbalkrant but hope to reduce the price for Dennis, by offering Hoedt as part of the transfer.
