Nigeria goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi is attracting the interest from top clubs in South Africa, reports Completesports.com.
Akpeyi is in the hunt for a new club after he was released by Kaizer Chiefs early this month.
The 35-year-old spent three years with the Amakhosi, having arrived from Chippa United in 2019.
Orlando Pirates, Sekhukhune United, SuperSport United and Swallows FC are reportedly on the trail of the goalie according to the Citizen.
Akpeyi made 12 appearances for Amakhosi last season with the Nigerian keeping five clean sheets and conceding seven goals.
He is keen to play on a regular basis for his new club.

All you Akpeyi Haters, eat shit. If Akpeyi were in goal, Nigeria would have defeated Tunisia and Ghana. Hating is worst that Corona virus. You haters are sick.
A lunatic is not hard to know by his utterances especially when unprovoked….Animal!
A hopeless hater is not hard to know by his utterances especially when unprovoked…. Prick!
Oga DHL Jones, leave that story a beg. Akpeyi’s days as a Super Eagles goalkeeper are over.
Akpeyi is too jittery and shaky in goal for my liking……poor reflexes and always making the wrong judgement when crosses are coming in……. Akpeyi has been given a handful of opportunities in SE to be able to prove himself…….We all know his ability although he is a good squad player…….I think Adeboye Adeleye the dude playing in Isreal should be given a run too so we can see what he will bring to the table…….From what I see he is very agile calm with sharp reflexes……his confidence too is top notch and he has a lot of similarities to Onana of Ajax.
