Mikel Arteta believes something has changed in Kai Havertz as he is now a different player.
After struggling in the early part of his Arsenal career Havertz has become a key player for Arteta’s men.
The former Chelsea star has been in fine scoring form as he got Arsenal’s equaliser in their 3-1 comeback win against Southampton at the Emirates on Saturday.
His goal means he has equaled Robin van Persie’s feat of scoring in seven consecutive home games for Arsenal.
Speaking after another impressive performance for the Gunners Arteta said the best is yet to come for the German.
“Kai Havertz is working hard every day because he wants more. He’s not satisfied.
“There is still another level from him. He’s surrounded by incredible players but something has changed in him. You really sense that confidence in him.”
This season Havertz has scores four goals, provided one assist in seven Premier League appearances.
Also he has scored six goals in 10 games for the Gunners in all competitions this term.
