Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke has commenced plans to be a manager after he retires from football.
Solanke, who has started his UEFA B coaching badges, told the Daily Echo that it’s always a dream for him to become a manager.
“We’ve actually done quite a few sessions now,” added Solanke. “So hopefully it won’t be too many more sessions before I get my B license.
“I wouldn’t say I definitely want to be a manager after football, but it’s definitely something that could be an option.”

“So I thought, It’s not a bad time to just start getting that ball rolling.”
Meanwhile, he has debunked reports that he’ll be leaving the club this summer.
Recall that the star striker is being linked with a big club move away this summer.
“When you do well, there’s always going to be that speculation.
“Speculation, it’s part of football, really. But I’m happy here, and I’ve had a great season here.”

“Our owns” after retirement will go grooving for 6 years and come back to lay claim to the SE job, waving their ex-international ID cards as their visa to the SE technical bench.
And then agents of retrogression like Odegbami, Omo9ja, DeStar et al. will come here to tell us “he played in Europe for 14 seasons under top coaches” and that qualifies him to coach the SE….let us swim or sink with our own.
If we had serious ex-internationals, our 2013 set should by now be interning as Asst coaches across Europe and with our U17 and U20 teams.
Stories like this make you realise Everything is wrong with NFF and Nigerian Mentality especially the Aghahowa dem and class of 94 them..
Look at a player Europe based Dual National while still in his playing days is planning ahead as he know’s what he wants to do. Who can actually make a meaningful contribution that will help our cause and who would have turned out to be the type of Ex International that Nigeria need and e will make sense as a coach because 1 he won’t be too sentimental okay maybe he may have a soft spot for Yoruba people but at least he will be less so. He will probably have a dynamic approach to the local Agbero’s turned coaches because he will actually be qualified for the post. Yes he is considered a England Reject in my books but still a player like this would have made better sense than that Igboke guy for instance Osimhen was injured. But NFF and Ex Internationals are just hell Bent on turning Nigerian Football in to Sao Tome Principe
We actually have a deep rooted problem that if not addressed very soon. Nigeria wil actually amount to nothing in a ramifications
