Simeon, ‘Simy’ Nwankwo’s Crotone made history by conceding their 91st goal of the season, but still managed to beat Hellas Verona 2-1 to leave the foot of the table.
The goal conceded by Crotone meant they equal the record set by Casale in the 1933-1934 season.
Crotone took 76 seconds to break the deadlock, as Adam Ounas mis-kicked Nwankwo’s assist, but still managed to bend it into the far bottom corner.

Despite several Verona chances, Crotone doubled their lead with Ounas setting up Junior Messias in the 75th minute.
But with three minutes left in the game Verona scored through an on goal by Salvatore Molina.
Already relegated Crotone clinched their sixth win of the season and move up to the 19th position.
