Super Eagles forward Moses Simon scored his first goal in Ligue 1 this season as Nantes pipped Clermont 1-0 on Sunday.
Simon scored in the 48th minute to give Nantes their first win in the league after five games.
The win saw Nantes climb out of the relegation zone to 15th place in the league table.
Last season Simon scored five goals in 34 league appearances for Nantes.

In another Ligue 1 game Akor Adams was in action for Montpellier who held Strasbourg to 2-2 draw away.
Adams was yellow carded on 29 minutes and was later replaced with 20 minutes left to play.
The 23-year-old former Lillestrom striker has scored three goals in five outings for Montpellier.
