Nantes manager Antoine Kombouare has revealed Moses Simon is currently nursing an ankle injury.
The Nigeria international fractured his fibula, while on international duty with Nigeria in March.
Simon missed the remainder of the campaign after undergoing surgery.
The 28-year-old recently returned to first team training and has starred for the club in pre-season friendlies.

The former Levante star has scored twice in the club’s last two games.
He scored the winning goal in the Canaries 2-1 victory over Laval on Saturday night.
Nantes manager Antoine Kombouare revealed the player is battling with a ankle problem.
“I only regret that Moses Simon is struggling with his ankle,” Kombouare said after the clash with Laval.
