Super Eagles winger Moses Simon is thrilled to help Nantes beat OGC Nice in Saturday’s French Ligue 1 clash at the Stade de la Beaujoire – Louis Fonteneau, Completesports.com reports.
Nantes edged out the visitors 1-0 with Simon scoring the decisive goal four minutes from time.
It was Simon’s second goal in his eighth league appearance for the Christian Gourcuff’s Nantes.
The 24-year-old was replaced by Samuel Moutoussamy deep into stoppage time.
The Nigeria international took to the social media to celebrate the win.
“Thank you lord🙏alleznantes🔰💪+3P,”reads a tweet on Simon’s Twitter handle on Sunday.
Simon and his teammates will travel to Metz for their next league game on Saturday, October 19.
