Moses Simon has revealed the secret behind his superlative form for the Super Eagles at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, reports Completesports.com.
Simon has been one of Nigeria’s top performers at the competition, with a goal and one assist to his name.
The winger has been criticised for his inconsistent performance for the Super Eagles in recent years, but seems back to his best at the moment.

“I think change of play has helped me a lot. With the former coach I played as a wing-back,”the Nantes star told NFF TV.
“Of course I am grateful for that because he gave me the opportunity to show what I can do. He believe in me. He could play me anywhere I will perform”
“With the current coach, he gave me the freedom, just go and do your thing and defend less.”

Sure Moses, it’s the change in style of play that has brought about the difference in your performance for the SE. We can now see the same level of play that you provide at club level here in the Super Eagles. Am happy for you bro!
Pure my guy but rohr is honest in picking players
Rohr destroyer of talents. This boy was condemned by the fans because of Rohr’s tactics.
Thank GOD for Eguavon who brought Moses out of those shackles
I will advice this guy to keep calm, focus and enjoy his form in this competition rather than granting all this interview up and down. He could’ve said his preferred position to the coach now because we all know he is one of the man favourite players then so maybe it didn’t work out every coach by seeing one or two things in a player decide to switch to kind of formation. We have seen Iwobi played as a right wing back in his club and it work out for sometime it was a coach that tried that then. Even presently Eguavon is playing some players out of position and it has been working out. Idah was played as a right back even Iheanacho is being played has number 10 which was Rohr that first did it then.
Those of us who said Coach Rohr was not ambitous in his style of play has been vindicated. Even the players knew it!
Only God knows why the coach adopted that pattern. He didn’t start out like that. I remember us beating Zambia away at a time no one believed we could. We also beat Cameroon, etc. with n aggressive style of play. So why did the coach change strategy?
Well, all that is in the past now. Thanks to Mr. Rohr for the part he played to get us to where we are now, but we have to move on.
My advice to Coach Eguavoen and the boys at this time is to stay focused! Stop celebrating the group stage. There are challenges ahead. Hopefully, we can all celebrate when it is all over.
Up Super Eagles!
The problem with rohr is that he doesn’t trust these players because they don’t play for man u,real maldrid, Barcelona and co,as soon as Victor Moses and Mikel retired, followed by ighalo,he lost it,he suddenly became afraid of every team and lost confidence in his team
Well said!
