Sevilla have praised Chidera Ejuke after he got his first league assist in the 4-0 win against Real Valladolid on Sunday.
Ejuke came with 15 minutes left and provided the assist for Dodi Lukebakio to make it 4-0 to Sevilla.
It was Ejuke’s 14th appearance in the Spanish top flight.
Commenting on Ejuke’s contribution to the win, Sevilla wrote on their English X handle:”An assist for our Naija boy .
“We mount .”
Ejuke was back in action for Sevilla last month after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old sustained the injury in a league match against Barcelona last October.
Sevilla are currently in 12th place on 31 points in the league table.
The club halted a run of three consecutive games without a win thanks to the 4-0 thrashing of Valladolid.
