Victor Osimhen was the hero for Napoli as his first half header sealed a hardfought 1-0 win at Bologna in the Serie A on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.
It was Osimhen’s second goal in six Serie A games for Napoli with his first coming in a 4-1 win against Atalanta last month.
The Super Eagles striker scored the only goal of the game after heading in Hirving Lozano’s cross.

Napoli had the ball in the back of the net in the 49th minute through Kalidou Koulibaly from a corner, but Osimhen was adjudged to have fouled in the build up to the goal.
It is a return to winning ways for Napoli in the League after they were shocked 2-0 at home to Sassuolo.
Osimhen was then replaced by Andrea Petagna with seven minutes left in the game.
The win took Napoli to third on 14 points and just two points behind leaders AC Milan.

Son of grace
A fine headed goal. Nice confidence booster.
God knows I’ve been silently praying for this boy to find his Goal scoring form again at Napoli. Let the goals keep coming like flood. Because Oshimen is destined a World star. I’ve been keenly following him since U-17 AFCON and can’t wait for him to be listed amongst the World best in years to come. Congratulations Oshimen.
Glad to be back to the forum

Good to have you back. You’ve been missing for a while.
Osihmin keep it on you are a great hero in the making
The boy sabi
Morale booster goal for Nigerian! boy . Your goals will keep coming now and injury will not be your portion in Jesus name
Mertens the captain hardly passes to Oshimen to score even if Oshimen is better positioned and as contributed immensely to oshimen’s low goal to game ratio
I noticed Mertens and the other short Italian too. Low key sabotaging the boy. Osimehn should’ve been 5 goals up now. Advice to him is to be selfish at times.
Nice play Osimhen,I hope this goal opens the floodgate for many more after the international break.
Interestingly, there are no report of injuries from our players across Europe on a final weekend before the international break.Good omen I would say because usually this time is worse for losing players to injuries. So we are going for the games with almost a full compliment of our squad.I would say Kenneth Omerou is the only crocked Nigerian player who didn’t get replaced after injury put him out for two weeks.
Meanwhile, our Kingsley Michael has consistently warmed the bench of Bologna this season.Every past weeks I kept looking out for him hoping he features even from the bench was of little to no avail, sadly so.Lately, the super eagles has had a dearth of attacking midfielders,a big worry to it’s faithful and I am hoping our own born players start impressing in that department since it’s harder this days luring foreign players of Nigerian decent into switching allegiance.
