Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen was in action as Napoli lost 2-0 to Bologna in Saturday’s Serie A game.
The Nigerian international who was making his 24th appearance for Napoli, has netted 15 goals and bagged three assists this ongoing season.
Bologna broke the deadlock after a chaotic move, as Joshua Zirkzee’s shot was deflected, so was the Jens Odgaard follow-up cross, turning into an accidental assist for Dan Ndoye to nod in from point-blank range.

Moments later it was 2-0, as Kacper Urbanski’s corner was flicked on by Riccardo Calafiori for Stefan Posch to score from four yards, allowed a free header by Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa.
Napoli should have pulled one back soon after when they were awarded a penalty for Remo Freuler’s foul on Victor Osimhen but Bologna goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia kept out Matteo Politano’s low shot.
Napoli are eighth on 51 points as last season’s Scudetto winners continue to struggle to match their heroics from the previous term.
