Osimhen would find scoring difficult because Napoli wingers and attacking midfielders love to be on the scoresheet. They are not one to work for the point man to score. They would rather score than pass to Osimhen.
Osimhen’s only goal this season for Napoli came through his own effort sadly.
I saw a situation where Roberto Insighe who was badly positioned and should have left the ball for a well positioned Osimhen to finish off rather went for a header which went wild.
Gattuso has to address this situation otherwise our Osimhen will continue to be in the shadow of his compatriots.
Osimhen go soon dey score basket full of goals. Na just a matter of time
The coach need to address this issue. They are not passing ball to him . Racism in Napoli. The coach love Victor. If Napoli get another coach Victor will be in bench
Osimhmen need to deploy to midfield to collect ball sometimes not waiting for pass,he should watch Ronaldo de lima videos, if you dont get passes, come to midfield and build your movement, italians are gangstars players, if you no belong, your name na sorry
Not every coach would want his striker to drop deep.I know this issue of dropping deep is becoming a cliche here. One prominent forumite say something everyone follows suite like a fly would faeces haha.
Anyone that has experience of playing football at a reasonable level should know that coaches differs on how they want their strikers to play. Some coaches would prefer their striker to always stay on the box and keep the two central defenders on their toes whereas some coaches would want his striker to dash to either flanks to create opening for the attacking midfielders to shoot, and you get coaches that wants his striker to drop deep to assist in the midfield as well making it hard for the defenders to keep track of him as well providing a platform for the wingers to shoot at goal. You learn all this in a classroom with the coach as the teacher it’s called boardwork.
Apparently,Osimhen is following instructions.
Osimene is being used as a decoy target man. He has been really impressive despite not scoring. That shows how good this lad is. But no worries, we shall soon see goals pouring in, when attention start shifting to the other players. Still early days.
