The goal rain continues!
Osimhen was clearly above Diego Godin interms of pace anticipation skill and strength……he bullied the veteran defender throughout the game….. osimhen was on the lips of the fan in the stadium……they chant his name like a legend and that will make osimhen more deadly this season……I see so much love around osimhen and a big smile on his face all the time….. this might just be his season but Napoli should be ready to lose him to a bigger club soon.
Congratulations to you Osimhen. I want you to learn from this.
Life is not perfect and everything happens for a reason.
There’s time for everything. Look back few weeks or months ago when things were not going you way in Italy. You were in pain here and there.
Not that you have bn forgotten but God has his own way to do things.
Now, you are laughing and smiling and scoring goals for fun for for Napoli. To God be the glory I am happy for you Osimhen.
Don’t relent. Keep pushing and never stop praying. God is in control. God bless Nigeria!!!
And Paul Onuachu getting a hat-trick aswell.
And he miss one penalty too all in space of 50minutes. Paulo have turn Belgium league to principal cup men.
You may be right if you put it that way. I watched the game last night, he wasnt even breaking a sweat. He wasnt keen about it all. He was just going about his thing and getting the free spaces and tapping the balls in. He hardly jubilates when he scores in the league these days. His 2nd goal was even very funny. he practically walked the ball to the goal line before scoring. When you have outgrown a certain difficulty level, you have outgrown it. And players like Juanya Ito and the other Congolese boy makes it all the more easier for him.
Onuachu has outgrown whatever difficulty level the Belgian league has to offer. He should move to a better league before he gets used to operating at that kind of level. Even if it means buying out his own contract like Adrej Arsharvin did to get an EPL move from Russia back then.
There is nothing to suggest that Onuachu will let up his form in Belgium this season. Additionally for Nigeria, he has started contributing his fair share of goals, assists, pre-assists and gamesmanship manoeuvres.
9 goals in 8 league games in a major European league is mind blowing. Is it a fluke that he has continued from where he left off last term?
No – you either have it or you don’t. Onuachu has it. He is a goals scoring machine.
If he has a prolonged run as Super Eagles starting number 9, he should be able to replicate his club form for country.
God bless Osimhen as he continues to fly Nigeria flag high higher highest. Flag it proudly lad.
He is always bursting the block, they call him block burster. Lad, you are a real Nigerian doing it alright. This goal reminds us of Dan de Bull Amokachi in atlanta 1996. Love from we kids
Big Vic!
After the game, Diego Godin went straight to the dressing room for a massage and an ice bath. He has requested a week’s leave of absence, after what Osimhen did to him. Osimhen ran him into the ground. Godin is still panting in the dressing room from sheer exhaustion as we speak 🙂
Osimhen, you wicked ooo. You want to kill the poor guy?
Nice goal and contributions from Victor Osimhen. He is really maturing well in the serie A. I just cant wait for him to play against AC and INTER MILAN, ROMA, LAZIO etc. He already played against JUVE and gave a good account of himself. But with this new found form, I see him scoring against the very best clubs in the serie A and becoming the highest goal scorer in the league. I just hope he stays injury free, fit and his teammates work with him. Their contributions will be key in helping Osimhen achieve the best he can this season. Keep it up Osimhen.
That might be a hard feat because of afcon, ah Africa, African football is trouble.
That is why SQUAD ROTATION is so important.
With proper rotation, probability of injury is reduced.
Who is Osimhen’s back up in Napoli. I hope they have a good backup for him because he cant play every game and every competition for them.
Even in the Super Eagles, we have a lot of players who can serve as backup for Osimhen. They may not play with the same intensity as osimhen but they will surely get the job done.
I just want to add that while we have an attack lineup that can win competitions for us (in the Super Eagles), we still have alot of work to do on our Goal keepers, defenders and midfielders. The defense can be improved with one or two additions likewise the midfield but the goalie position is where the concern is with all available goalies having up and down performances.
Going into a competition with a second rate goalie will surely destroy the good work of the other department in the team. So if we are really serious about winning any competition, we need to be sure we have a goal keeper we are sure of.
