Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi was conspicuously missing as Roma walloped Empoli 7-0 in Sunday’s Serie A game.
The Nigerian international has made two appearances in the league this ongoing season.
Paulo Dybala bagged a brace, while Renato Sanches and Romelu Lukaku scored their maiden goals as Roma got the first win of the season.

The host netted the opening goal when he converted the penalty into the top corner, despite Etrit Berisha going the right way. Renato Sanches doubled the advantage in the eighth, nodding home a cushioned cross by Rasmus Kristensen.
Empoli’s Alberto Grassi made it 3-0 to Roma with an own goal in the 35th minute, and Dybala scored his second of the night after the break, placing a low finish inside the bottom left corner.
Bryan Cristante, Romelu Lukaku and Gianluca Mancini completed the rout with a goal each in the final 11 minutes.
