Theo Hernandez got the opening goal of the game moments before the half-time interval as he took advantage of a couple of lucky ricochets to find himself one on one with the goalkeeper, who he poked the ball past.
Christian Pulisic got the second early in the second half as he had the simple job of tapping into an empty net when Noah Okafor’s shot was saved into his path.
The win means AC Milan sit second spot on the log on 62 points while Verona sit 15th on 26 points.

Nice goal from Onye Baalu!! I still believe he’s a top talent who is trying to find consistency. On his day he’s absolutely spectacular just maybe he hasn’t reached his full potential yet. But Hey he’s still only 24 and plays for AC Milan. All the outfield players on the pitch with him for Milan celebrated that goal with joy with him. Shows how highly they valued him.
He just needs to be a bit more consistent and he will be a darling of the Rossoneri faithfuls. Milan fans are not that patient, they’re just like Liverpool fans. I believe he’s got the talent to play for a big club like AC Milan and also help the SuperEagles in what will be a defining moment for this generation.
We’re brimming with talents everywhere on the attacking third. I just hope we get a coach that can strike the valence that will make unstoppable and very difficult to beat.
FLY LIKE AN EAGLE INTO THE FUTURE.
**Make them unstoppable**
I am of the opinion that if chukwueze can employ a personal training that can work with him on his weaknesses and some other aspects of his game, he will improve tremendously.
Good goal. More of such
Can we just rest about this guy and focus on others, he has been given chances after chances. Let him go rest abeg, what was spectacular about his appearance, his team was already leading.
At that point AC Milan was under pressure. They needed that goal and the technique was dynamite. I’ve scrutinized him many times as well. He just need to find consistency and possibly reach his full potential. You can never deny his talent unless you never kicked a ball before.
And Also the shot itself was luck, how do I know because his technique in hitting that shot was wrong he was just lucky to hit the target. He was Leaning back as he hit the ball and his connection with the ball and leg movement was wrong. You would think it is easier for players to perfect thier skills these days just Use the damn Internet and watch video’s of past great players as Chukwueze claims Arjien Robben is his Idol Why can’t he Spend hours watching his videos from the luxury of his Apartment in Milan or House. Instead he will be on social media making pranks and Jokes year in year out and yet no improvement on the pitch always the same Chukwueze. Hopefully this recent wave of Criticism would have shaken him up!.
Arjen Robben’s best years were at Bayern when he was already approaching 30. He flopped at Madrid and only showed glimpses of his potentials at Chelsea. Chukwueze showed glimpses of his potentials at Villarreal. He won Europa League and always a torn in Madrid’s flesh. This is first season at Milan and if he can just put in some run of consistency Rossoneri fans will definitely fall in love with him. He’s that kinda player. Raphael Leao doesn’t score many goals, but they adore him. I believe Samu will improve with age. If he doesn’t sustain bad injuries IJN.
Yes and Arjen Obviously Became his Idol due to his Dutch National team perfromances and his Chelsea and Bayern Munich Days I also would like to believe there is ample video’s of Robben in a Bayern Shirt strutting his stuff. the point I am trying to make when Arjen Was Samuels age we were not in the Social Media age So Samuel has better opportunities to grasp the game better than Arjen did.
People should also note that big players of today speak of how they spend Hours doin what I have just suggested Chukwueze does. However when it comes to Nigerian players they would much rather bask in the current fame forgetting that in ball you are only as good as your last game.
hmmm, not wishing him bad, but will come back and remind you that some said so.
I prefer Haliru Sariki to Chukwueze,I was shocked he wasn’t called up for the afcon
The Boy has talent but he is not serious nor focused. He needs to buckle up because Tella is coming!
On his day, Chuks is a handful. The talent is there. No doubt about that.
The problem is that he seems to be unwilling to do the EXTRA needed to improve his game.
His OTU UKWU ONE-ONE-LEG approach may work against inferior opponents, but when he jams ogbonge defenders, strong tackling, fast, intelligent defenders, he is often neutralized.
Using only one leg is a huge disadvantage at the highest level. At the highest level, defenders already know his options, and all they have to do is match him for pace, and show him his right, and he is done. His goose is cooked.
He must learn to use his right foot. Just a little improvement there, and his game will improve dramatically. Using his right foot gives him more options, and makes him more dangerous.
Look at all the good left footed right wingers in the game today. Kulusevski, Leon Bailey, Bukayo Saka, Mo Salah, Jared Bowen, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Mahrez, and several others. They keep defenders guessing, and are more difficult to pin down, because they can hurt you with both feet.
Just a few extra minutes of work after every training session is all it takes.
Chuks also needs to work on his decision-making.
Chuks by now should be a game changer for Nigeria. He should be one of our freekick specialists by now. He should be a guy that can use his talent to get us out of jail, like Messi does for Argentina. He could be world class. But he needs to put in a bit more work to get there.
This is true @Golden Child. Nathan Tella is far and away a true winger. Chukwueze should sit up. Hopefully he can score back to jack goals for AC Milan to boost his confidence.
