A Cyriel Dessers hat-trick and goals from Clinton Nsiala and Ross McCausland saw Rangers thrash lower division side Fraserburgh 5-0 and progress into round 16 of the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
Aside bagging a hat-trick, Dessers also provided an assist in the dominant Cup win.
The 30-year-old was also on target in Rangers’ 3-0 win against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership in midweek.
Dessers gave Rangers the lead in the 27th minute before Nsiala doubled their lead on 52 minutes.
In the 57th minute Dessers made it 3-0 and set up Ross McCausland for the fourth goal on 74 minutes.
He then completed his hat-trick when he got Rangers’ fifth goal in the 90th minute.
Rangers will know their round of 16 opponent after Monday night’s draw.
The Glasgow giants have won the Scottish Cup 34 times and are the second most successful team after Celtic (42) in the history of the competition.
The last time Rangers won the Scottish Cup was in the 2021-2022 season and lost 1-0 to Celtic in last season’s final.
