Paris Saint-Germain have edged ahead of Schalke in the bid to sign Tottenham defender Danny Rose this summer, according to reports.
The England international appears to be edging closer to a move away from Spurs this summer and Bundeliga outfit Schalke are thought to be one of the interested parties.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says Rose’s future is yet to be decided but it appears Ligue 1 giants PSG could be pushing ahead of the Royal Blues in the race to secure the left-back’s services.
“Danny is our player. We are dealing with the club and the agents,” Pochettino said on Friday. “They need time to sort it out.
In 10 days, we will go back to London, if he is there he will be normal with the team. “The club agreed a deal. I wasn’t involved in the discussion in the last week.”
