Schalke Under-19 coach Norbert Elgert feels former player Leroy Sane is now worth double what Manchester City paid to sign him.
There was some surprise in 2016 when City went in for the untested 19-year-old, especially considering they spent £38m to acquire the promising Germany international.

Schalke academy coach Elgert, who helped mentor Sane during his time with the Bundesliga outfit, is adamant City now have a major asset on their books who will only get better.
Elgert told Sport Bild: “You could see his huge potential at 16, but there are no guarantees in football.
“Leroy’s positional play overall and above all in confined spaces has improved significantly.
“And because of this he has become more dangerous. Leroy is now twice as expensive today (what City originally paid).”
