Schalke boss Domenico Tedesco says he is planning to utilise striker Mark Uth in a deeper role on a regular basis this season.
Uth has largely been used as a centre-forward throughout his career but Tedesco believes he may be better suited to a No.10 role.

“I think that because of his abilities, Mark is better preserved at the number 10 position,” Tedesco told Kicker. “He has also the technical requirements. He knows how to play the final ball, but he’s also a great finisher.”
The 27-year-old, who only joined Schalke from Hoffenheim last summer, has made 17 appearances for Schalke this season and has two goals and two assists so far.
