At the Etihad, Manchester City hammered RB Leipzig 7-0 to end their two-legged ties 8-1 on aggregate.
Erling Haaland was the star of the game as he netted five goals while Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne got City’s two other strikes.
Haaland is the third player to score five goals in a single UEFA Champions League game after Luiz Adriano in October 2014 (Shakhtar Donetsk vs BATE Borisov) and Lionel Messi in March 2012 (Barcelona v Bayer Leverkusen).
He becomes the fastest and youngest player to reach 30 goals in Europe’s elite club competition.
