Heerenveen midfielder Morten Thorsby is reportedly close to wrapping up the arrangements over a summer move to Sampdoria.
The 22-year-old, who has one cap for Norway, has apparently been in Genoa this week for a medical and it is expected he will be announced as a summer Sampdoria signing imminently.
Thorsby is out of contract at the end of the season, so is, therefore, able to speak to overseas clubs about a free transfer move from this month, and is set to join Samp on a five-year deal in July.
