Gothenburg coach Mikael Stahre has revealed that Saidu Salisu will be a big asset for the club in the ongoing season.
Recall that that Nigerian international joined the Swedish team on loan with the option to buy from Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) side Kano Pillars.
Reacting to to his signing, Stahre described him as a player that is good in the air and completely fearless.
“It will be valuable for us to have him with us for a longer period of time this summer and autumn.

“This allows us to evaluate Saidu further.”
Chief scout Stig Torbjornsen explained how he recruited Salisu from the Nigerian League.
“I have been in Nigeria and seen Saidu in place both in matches and in training. He was very good in a tournament I followed earlier this summer.
“Saidu’s physique is his main attribute.
“In addition he is good in the air and completely fearless.
“He will need time to get into everything but he has good potential to succeed in Blavitt and the Allsvenkan.”
