The 24-year-old was Almeria’s top scorer this season with 20 league goals.
Another Nigerian star Kenneth Omeruo will also be in action in the second semi-final of the play-offs on Sunday.
Just like Sadiq, Omeruo and his Leganes teammates must overturn a 3-0 defeat against Rayo Vallecano from the first-leg, to stand a chance of playing in Spain’s elite division next season.
The winner from the semi-finals will meet in the final to decide the third team that will join Mallorca and Espanyol in Laliga.

Too bad bro. I guess its time to start weighing your options. You can still play in laliga but with a different team. You can also play in another top 5 league, the choice is yours.
I watched this game for 90minutes yesterday… Sadiq could not offer much. They had glorious scoring opportunities early but most of his colleagues in the forwardline were very poor in front of goal… no wonder they did not register any goal in over 180 minutes of the two-legged playoff… Him better find him way from that average club. His goals just counted for noughts!
