This what you get when you invited 25 players instead of 27players allowed by CAF
Na wah oooo, what’s going on here? Now I applaud Peseiros decision to leave osimhen out of the game against Guinea completely, we’ll all good, Dessiershd be call to replace sadiq now or Tella.
This will be a blessing in disguise , it’s God works in progress,he is helping us to put our national team in order, orban or Akor will join now .
Hope no be juju Dey work . Don’t understand what is happening ? Does NFF have a medical team to confirm the fitness of these players immediately the camp resumes ? Anyway , Onuachu is a good replacement if not better than Sadiq. He has experience with eagles. Seems Peseiro wants eagles to be physical. Eventually we might be lucky ,the team might gel together and perform wonders. If the coach knows what he is doing put Osi and Onuachu at the front and let Lookman and Iwobi plays behind them , deploy two defensive players pack the midfield to be impenetrable. Eagles will beat any team with raw power of Osi and Onuachu and sublime skills of iwobi and lookman
I agree with you bro!
I think these injuries may force Peseiro to play Lookman in his actual position behind the main striker while Moses and Chukwueze take up the wings. If that partnership works in our first game, then we may accidentally discover our killer strikeforce..lol
Nigeria should invite dessers, kelechi nwakili, igbo ogbu, Akor
My observation!!!!
Why is it that Nigerian foreign born players don’t have injuries like the ones born at home?
Is it the food regime that they eat or there style of play that might be different or can it be voodoo or it is just mere coincidence
Age!
Have said it again and again, our sport men and women need control what goes into there system, eaten our local delicacies will do them more harm than good as a sport individual, 90% of our foods are enemy to fitness.
Why not tie them to a tree and make them eat grass? Or what food would you be recommending for them to eat. So its local delicacy that is going to make them lose form. Bunch of nonsense
@sholly we are what we eat . Food matters a lot. Africans are too heavy and thick because of the food we eat.How many times have you heard C R getting injury ? It wont happen because he watches his meal in fact he does not take Soda at all. Besides food African like sex a lot and having too much sex exposes players to injury . Being a world class player requires discipline of the mind and body.
I doubt it is food induced. Our players, once they sign for clubs abroad, forget about physical football. So they come back to Africa and voila, they weave past strong bones unlike the ajebutter players in their clubs.
That’s why ihenacho is taking a huge gamble by not letting another take his place.
We should have gone with 27..Peseiro and NFF have bottled this Nations cup. Heads have to roll for this incompetence but who will discipline them, when incompetence has been enthroned in Nigeria.
A country where anything goes. Imagine a Minister paying 500 and something million into her accomplice account, in a place where graduates have no jobs and people are dying of hunger.. If the head is bad, it will flow down to the body. I expect nothing from this team.
@Xhuxhu the KKK. You have surfaced from your long drug induced hibernation to spit shit and cast your usual aspersion on the greatest country in the African/black world.
Where are your mental health nurses and psychiatric doctors who were suppose to keep you on depo? Listen! for your own good, better consent to your anti psychotic drug which are plenty in South Africa or disappear from this forum before we expose you for who your really are: a phony.
Many of us are yet to realize that Gasau is the most stingy, the most parsimonious NFF head we’ve ever had.
Did anyone notice the way he keeps on cutting the number of players invited for qualifiers to 23? I won’t be surprised if he was the one who suggested 41 players then 25 for Peseiro to cut cost as usual. It’s in him being an accountant that he is to ration resources at the expense of the team. Gusau should be held responsible if the team fails at this AFC0N. His poor management style and ineptitude are causing so much harm to us. Look at the way he’s been handling Waldrum’s contract issue. I can’t also forget the way he gave a WC bound Super Falcons the most horrible preparation I’ve ever seen since I’ve been watching the team.
Under his watch, our national teams’ preparation for international competition remains extremely shabby. As I speak now, we don’t have a standing u17 and u20 national teams. Our junior female teams are only good in Africa. Once they step out there into FIFA Competitions, they struggle to achieve their full potential. Their male counterparts ain’t better in any way.
I remember the shoddy preparation given to the male u17 team before going to their own AFCON last year or so. The only team that got a semblance of moderate preparation was the male u20 team that participated in FIFA WC in Argentina, and we all saw what they did. Even at that, how has the NFF under Gasau being able to manage the various talents in that team? So horrible! There are some players in that team that should by now be training with the SEs, at least. Dudes like Daga, Nnadi, Fredrick, Micheal, Anagbaso, and even Ibeji should have been invited to the SEs to train with the team and have a feel of the big boys. I remember Mikel Obi being called to the SEs camp in a WC qualifying match some months after his team’s 2005 exploits at WYC in Holland. He was also in the team that participated in 2006 AFCON whee he played a good role.
We all see how Waldrun is gradually integrating junior team players like Imuran, Demehin, Onyenezedie into the main team. Now, we can say with our full chest that the Super Falcons’ future is secured.
Can anyone name a single player from the 2017, 2019 and 2021 sets of any of our u17 and u23 teans that has been bloodied into the SEs apart from Victor Boniface, who didn’t even make the 2021 FIFA U20 WC team due to injury?
Our supply line to the SE is gradually thinnig out. Look at where graduates of those junior teams are playing now? Amoo is in Cyprus, Oladele is in Krasnodar, Ibeji just signed for a club in Slovenia. Daga is in Eyinmba. We don’t even know where some are as we speak. It’s so shameful, I must say.
Your last paragraph @papafem is a “lie”. When push comes to shove, super eagles very lazy handlers will look for foreign born players to convince them to join the team, court them, plead, promise them first team shirts etc.
That is why glass house is idle and grossly incompetent. Don’t worry, we got this lol.
At least, that one has its benefit. Players with true age!
Are you aware our number one keeper is not even 25 yet? That’s why Peserio feels he’ll improve. How is that strong face less than 26?
So, I stand with NFF lol seeking players their clubs have first improved upon.
Osime I’m sure would justify why he’s World no8 best, no mean feat! Clearly victory lies in scoring goals and with sadiq joining the list of injured players.
Dr. Drey. Deo. Glory. What do you think about this. What’s this injury all about. I have not seen messi and Ronaldo get injured before major tournaments. Are we missing something. Now I think we should thank pesero for not playing a strong squad against guinea especially Oshimen.
This is serious.
Are our players missing something?
Now this team needs a good psychologist. It would have been great if the coach is one. This was the strong point of keshi and westerhof.
Their players always want to die in the field for them to achieve their goals.
Oshimen and iwobi and Musa needs to become psychologist. Maybe this is the reason why Musa ekong and omerou are in this team.
Desser or onuachu will do.
Sodiq
Ndidi
Awoniyi
Boniface
Nacho (don’t believe the lies. This boy will just be a spectator at afcon. He is injured)
Almost half of the main team. Na WA o.
Abeg Osimhen should not even train again just mild running which kind yeye injuries be this
Why not tie them to a tree and make them eat grass? Or what food would you be recommending for them to eat. So its local delicacy that is going to make them lose form. Bunch of nonsense
@ Christian Ministry nigeria, all these sudden injuries, oozes some diabolic smell. Where there is desperation and scarce opportunities that denands the fittest, witchcraft, voodoo, etc are bound to come into play in this material world. Reason I personally, I have started taking every of these worldly matter with a passing eye view; never again with my heart. THERE IS MORE THAN MEET THE EYE IN THIS MATERIAL WORLD. Those players must learn to pray for protection.
