I hope this guy does not fail. There is no difference in formation from his predecessors. I hope the players will improve and he has put more ginger for them to execute it properly
I’ll keep quiet on this one bcos I’m a strong campaigner for foreign coaches. It looks like he just went with market value. On the other hand, they want to attack since this is a must win, that may be the reason why Bright is starting. Well, he’s the one in camp with them.
I hope so. Lookman pairing Osimhen is the only change, I see. I hope there is no shock in our defence in the end. Chukwuze has looked to me to be below average in this game so far as usual. I hope he improves.
I have always clamoured for high press football but our previous coaches never used it,but this coach has done well so far.
Kudos to the players, I hope the coach add another body to the midfield particularly Papa Daniel I am a fan of this fantastic left footed midfielder…Chukwueze needs to be subbed out as well Iwobi.Papa Daniel and Onyedika are needed to beef up the midfield..
Oboy cool down – you peopke are way too emotional, saying this after only a galf of football is s little premature- drink some ice water and cool down for now -no point counting chickens before your eggs hatch
They are coming for you, @Dr Drey. LMAO… Osimhen is playing in Tolotolo league. Osmihen is rude. Now, Baba just restored our hope of going to the world cup. Reason I said the other time thst Osimhen is the only player I don’t wanna see have any injury in the last 6 matches of this series. He proved me right. Kudos to the coach. Kudos to the players. And Kudos to the NFF for giving us Eric Chelle. I believe this guy will qualify us for the WC.
Nigeria leading by two goals from Victor Osihmen is a right step in the right direction. We have dominated the game from the blast of the whistle. Second half, we should not drop our guard, I believe they learnt valuable lession from Benin yesterday who was leading by 2 goals to nothing and were later forced to a draw. Go for more goals. The best form of defense is attack. Attack more in the 2nd half and dim any hope of coming back. We should guide this goals jealously by attacking them more.
Ngwannu all the ones complaining and writing Ndidi off, where are you now? Hope you have all seen the error of your ways??
Let’s hope with Osimhen, that he really has recaptured or learned/improved on his goal scoring skills, I wasn’t too sure he was absolutely certain what he wanted to do with the eventually chipped goal, was like he was in two minds and wouldn’t have scored that in his previous showings and finally let’s hope the coach continues to insist on the high press and tackling tactics because as we all saw tonight it unsettles the opposition and puts them on the back foot

Okay, let’s see how the Super Eagles play with just 4 defenders.
Having a support striker drains the midfield of 1 extra body. How will Iwobi and Ndidi cope with this handicap?
Can Lookman and Osihmen strike a romantic and ruthless partnership upfront?
Has Nwabili exorcise the ghost of dropped form?
Will the substitution throw up shocks and beautiful surprises?
I am like a cat on a tin hot roof of anxiety with what to expect.

Looking good so far. I like the way we are pressing them. I dont think the Rwandans expected that and its causing them to make a lot of errors

Osimhen is back to full form with more goal sense with his legs, better than the Afcon games. Lookman can cross the ball sha. Kudos
This coach is the second best after Mr Stephen keshi,

Osimhen is not ‘ all that good’……LMAOoooo
Baba leave Osihmen alone. Must you be a saddist?
@Wasiu, many of us understand @Dr Drey. He was just being sarcastic and pooh-poohing the malicious comments of sworn enemies of Osimhen.
Congratulations to Nigeria. They were really tactical in the way they approached the game. And substituting Osimhen was tactical as well.
Unfortunately, SA beat Lesotho, who appear to be an agent of their neighbors. Easy to fall to SA but want to steal points from Nigeria.
Hopefully, Rohr and Benin do the needful on Tuesday by sharing spoils.

Nothing fantastic about the team. Same old lethargic display by some players. But great goals by oshimen
Na wa ooh….MAybe you are watching the back of the TV remember we had 3 draws in 3 games….

How come this coach removes Osihmen now? It doesn’t make sense.
It makes perfect sense. What if he gets injured? We still have another game in few days and we have other strikers as well.
It doesn’t make sense after 2 goals and getting tired and having other players on the bench who he wants to see abi? Some of you self
1 of 6 checked….!!!
South Africa ending this window with a 4pt lead will be bad news. Gernot Rohr….please let the Lord use you come Tuesday.
We definitely need Rohr’s Benin now more than ever.
Hopefully, they put an halt to the South Africans on Tuesday.
But I digress, for today’s game.
One word: ORGANISED
The Super Eagles simply organised. They had a plan and stuck to it. And it worked out good.
