Brian Idowu debut game for FC Khimki ended on a sour note as they went down to a 2-0 home defeat to CSKA Moscow on Saturday afternoon, reports Completesports.com.
Idowu, who linked up with the newly promoted club from Locomotiv Moscow on loan on Friday was named in the starting line-up for the game.

The 28-year-old featured for 90 minutes in the game and was unable to prevent his side from losing their opening fixture of the new season.
Konstantin Kuchaev and Alan Dzagoev scored both goals for the visitors in the first half.
Khimki will travel away to Sochi for their second league game of the season next week Friday.
